Who's responsible
Duy Nguyen, sole trader, Cambridge, UK, trading as CreatorsForge, is responsible for the personal data described here. In data protection terms, that makes us the controller. Contact: hello@creatorsforge.co.
The short version
This site has no forms of its own, runs no analytics and sets no cookies. The only personal data we receive is what you type into the Cal.com calendar when you pick a time, and anything you email us.
When you browse
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We keep them for 30 days, then delete them. We use them only to keep the site secure and to fix broken pages. Fonts and films load from our own server. The only outside code on the site is the Cal.com calendar on the Apply page, covered below.
When you pick a time for a call
The calendar on our Apply page is provided by Cal.com. When you pick a time, Cal.com collects your name, your email address, your Instagram handle and any notes you add, and passes them to us. Cal.com handles these details on our behalf, as our processor.
We use them to hold the call, to prepare for it and to follow up about a possible partnership. Before the call, we look at your public Instagram profile so the 45 minutes are useful.
The call runs on Google Meet, and the invite is created in our Google Calendar.
If you reached us through a link with a campaign tag, for example from one of our posts, the tag travels with your booking so we know which post brought you. We don't use it for anything else.
Our legal basis is taking the steps you've asked for before a possible agreement, and our legitimate interest in preparing a useful call.
Storage on your device
The embedded Cal.com calendar may use cookies or similar storage on its own domain to work, for example to remember your time zone. Cal.com's own privacy policy covers that.
If you pause motion or switch the sound on, your browser remembers that choice in local storage on your device. It never leaves your device, and you can clear it any time in your browser settings.
If you email us, we keep the conversation while it's useful to both of us. We never add you to a mailing list.
How long we keep things
Booking details and call notes: if no partnership follows, we delete them within 12 months of the call. If one does, we keep them for the length of the partnership, plus any period the law requires, for example 6 years for tax records.
Server logs: 30 days.
Who we share data with
Only the services that run the site and the call: our hosting provider (server logs), Cal.com (bookings), Google (the Meet call and the calendar invite) and our email provider (if you email us). We don't sell or rent your data, and we don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. When they do, they rely on the legal safeguards set out in their own policies.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR), you can ask us to:
- tell you what data we hold about you, and send you a copy
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your data, where the law allows
- stop or limit how we use it, or object to it
- move it to another service, where that applies
Email hello@creatorsforge.co and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
Children
This site isn't aimed at children.
Changes to this notice
If anything material changes, we update the date at the top and rewrite the section in plain English. If we ever add analytics or a form, we'll update this notice before switching it on.
